GLOBAL SERVICE DESK (GSD) is customer support organization that is running 24X7 by switching support activities between its 3 centers located in St.Petersburg/Russia, Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia and Montreal/Canada. It provides 1st (standard) and 2nd (deep consulting) level support service to all JTI Employees in the following areas:a centralized internal IT
- Standard IT questions (Microsoft, standard customer hardware/software)
- SAP
- JTI infrastructure solutions (IP telephony (Cisco, Avaya; Blackberry), iPass VPN, global networks etc.)
- JTI Global business applications (such as Siebel Analytics, Siebel Consumer Goods, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Microsoft SharePoint, web applications etc.)
- Standard IT questions (Microsoft, standard customer hardware/software)
Support is provided in different Languages: English, Russian, German, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Romanian, Malay, Arabic, Chinese, Indian and others. St. Petersburg GSD center primarily serves JTI customers from Geneva HQ, Europe, UK, Africa, Middle East and CIS offices and factories. JOB DESCRIPTION
- GSD Technical Analysts specialize in several JTI global infrastructure solutions and applications.
- They combine functions of primary customer contact point (making preliminary analysis, incident management, request dispatching) with in-depth problem analysis in the areas of their specialization.
Minimum requirements:
- University Degree, preferably in the area of Computer sciences or related field
- Fluent English and German, native Russian. Other languages are a plus
- General knowledge of IT technologies (e.g. networks, MS infrastructure solutions, software architecture, web-design, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills
- Practical experience of supporting IT systems and users is a plus
- Ability to interact and communicate in a multicultural environment
- Customer oriented attitude, willingness to work in a team
