PURPOSE
Project Coordination and supporting the lead Project Manager on the Visa CEMEA Commercial Network Refresh project involving the rollout of data services at over 300 locations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Co-ordination of site surveys and ownership of issues found from the surveys.
· Working across both Visa and Vendor (Orange Business Services) to facilitate the installation of data circuits and routers.
· Providing detailed instructions to the engineers.
· Quality controlling the installations.
· Managing cut-overs from the legacy network to the OBS network.
· Providing continuous updates/reports for senior managers.
· Preparing Ad-Hoc reports.
· Scheduling meetings/conference calls.
· Updating risk and issue logs.
· Document creation, management and publication.
· Providing updates for project plans and preparing and managing project trackers.
· Liaising with Project Boards, key stakeholders, the customer.
· Working closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
· Working within Visa project control methods.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Familiarity with one or more project management methodology
· 10+ years in a technical role within the Payment Systems Industry, including 5 years in a senior technical capacity.
· Knowledge of the Visa environment, systems, structure and methodologies
· Ability to operate and contribute strategically
· High level of experience in managing Suppliers and Supplier Management techniques
· Possess a high degree of commercial acumen to assist in evaluating project cost/benefits
· Highly developed problem solving and decision making skills
· Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels and functional areas
· High level of personal initiative, creativity and self motivation
· Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
· Time management.
· Effective organisational skills.
· Effective prioritisation of tasks.
